What the price includes
Two pros can quote the same pool and mean different jobs. One price covers the chemicals. The other doesn't. Before a customer compares your number with someone else's, write down what the number buys.
In the price, and on top of it
Decide whether chemicals are in the weekly price or billed on top. Both are common. What matters is that the customer knows which one they bought before the first bill, not after.
Then name the extras. A filter clean. A green pool on the first visit. A repair on the pad. Work that is not the weekly visit should not hide inside it, or the route quietly turns into free labor. The longer guide on pricing a route goes through how owners handle each one.
Put it on one page
Write a short agreement: the service day, what the visit includes, what costs extra, how the customer pays, and how either of you ends it. A page they signed is easier to point to than a conversation from last spring.
Say how the price changes, too. Chemical costs move, and so will your route. A customer who was told up front when and how the price can change takes a new number better than one who finds it on an invoice.
